BETWEEN HE & SHE

Can we be friends at LEAST? This one line we must hear for once at least by him/her. I thought a lot, why FRIENDSHIP is at LEAST thing? why does it feel like friendship is a consolation thing for saying no to a proposal, or after breaking a relationship or after getting a divorce, etc? why friendship is sometimes a door of wildcard entry in someone’s life whom you like or love? why asking for friendship is like sometimes a hidden permission or a wish for a secretly & silently one-sided relationship?
NO, I don’t want that kind of doped or masked friendship. In my opinion, friendship is neither the least thing nor a second option & most important that we can not choose our friend. Some of you are thinking, no we choose our friend on basis of their money, beauty, talent, intelligence, popularity & other factors.
IMO when two people are not interested in each other merit, money, talent, beauty, etc. when they are not with each other for any personal benefit. when they are genuinely interested in each other soul, no condition, no expectation, no trust issue, no insecurities, no attachments. When there is understanding, respect & affection between them, they can read each other mind, they can have a silent conversation, they can empathize with each other pain, they can embrace each other shortcoming, when they enjoy each other’s presence in life from the heart then they are the friend or can say best friend.
When it comes to having a male friend all I want to be treated like a human being first then a girl. I want him to be with me like he is with his all-male friends, no differentiation, no filter. I want us should be comfortable with each other like we are with our same-gender friends. I don’t want him to open the car door for me but fight for the window seat. I don’t want him to pay any of my bills but always ask for a contribution when we are together. I want him to don’t flirt with me but asked for tips on setting up. I want to let out my inner dude in front of him, I want him to help me understanding men better, I want him to give his shoulder to cry during heartbreak not turning our friendship into a relationship. I want him to be my critic if I am doing something wrong. whenever I find it hard to fall asleep, I can contact him for a deep, weird & illogical conversation.
I want him to protect and advise as Krishna did to Draupadi.
